A conversation with my co-worker today, who also happens to be a longtime friend (I don’t talk like this to other co-workers… most of the time).
He: “Uh… I’m not coming in tomorrow.”
Me: “BAHSTAHD! I DON’T BELIEVE YOU!”
He: “I’m so happy I can always count on you.”
Me: “Huh? What you be talkin’ about?”
He: ” ‘BAHSTAHD! I DON’T BELIEVE YOU!’ every single time I tell you I’m taking a day off.”
Me: “And this is the thanks I get? You keep insisting on taking a day off? BAHSTAHD! I DON’T BELIEVE YOU!”
I changed the look to something springy. If you don’t like it, oh well. I do. Hehehe
